Work begins on new central province steel plant

VietBusinessNews - A local company commenced construction of a 10,000 tonne hi-tech steel plant in central Quang Ngai province on February 3.

Covering an area of 19.7 ha at the Dung Quat Economic Zone, the total cost of the plant exceeds 450.7 billion VND (26 million USD).

Once completed in late 2010, it is expected to provide employment for approximately 500 local workers.

The Dai Dung Steel Structure Joint Stock Company – Central branch specialises in producing pre-processed steel frames, mechanical engineering products, oil and gas steel pipes and steel structures for use in heavy industry and construction, meeting the demands of investors in Vietnam ’s central provinces.
