PVG posts 11b dong loss in 2008's Q4

VietBusinessNews - PetroVietnam's PV Gas South reported that in the last quarter of 2008, its revenue from sales reached 282.3 billion dong while the value of principle price of goods was 285.6 billion dong, bringing a loss of 3.3 billion dong to the combined profit.

Although earning 16.3 billion dong from financial investment activities, the company still reported a loss of 16.1 billion dong in businesses because total costs for sales and corporate administration were 29 billion dong.

After adding 2.65 billion dong of other profits and 2.3 billion dong of refunded CIT, PVG's Q4 loss was reduced to 11.1 billion dong.

In 2008, PVG gained 1.294 trillion dong revenue, 9.4 billion dong after-tax profit and the EPS of 352 dong.
