Decrease in prices for Toyota cars

VietBusinessNews - Toyota Vietnam announced on February 2nd that it will reduce retail prices on all Toyota cars assembled or imported into Viet Nam.

An average decrease of 4.3%-4.6% will be applied to the retail prices of its cars. Although expensive models, such as the Camry and the Land Cruiser, will be sold for US$ 2,400-US$ 4,900 less, lower end models, such as the Vios Limo and the Innova J will see a decline in prices of only US$ 1,100-US$ 1,200.

The new prices, including VAT, was applied to all orders starting from February 1st, 2009.

According to Toyota Vietnam, the decision to decrease its car prices follows the Prime Minister’s instructions on lowering the VAT on cars, from 10% to 5%.
