Ca Mau’s seafood export value up 25 percent

VietBusinessNews - Despite a slight drop in output, the southernmost province of Ca Mau still posted a seafood export turnover of US$45 million in January, up 25% year-on-year, according to the provincial Department of Agricultural and Rural Development.

The performance was attributed to the efforts of local seafood processing firms in exploiting new export outlets as well as innovating technology to enhance the quality of seafood products, which has resulted in increased export prices.
