Total Consumer Goods Sales and Services Turnover up by 3.6 Percent

VietBusinessNews - The Hanoi Statistics Office reports that in January of this year, the total amount of consumer goods, sales and social services turnover increased by 3.6% against December of 2008, and by 26.3% year on year.

Of this, total retail sales rose by 4.2% against December of 2008. The volume of transported goods rose by 10.3%, the volume of rotated commodities rose by 19.1% and the turnover of passenger transportation rose by 10.6% against December of 2008.
