Soc Trang to put $70.6m into SMEs

VietBusinessNews - The southern province of Soc Trang has decided to set aside VND1.2 trillion (US$70.6 million) to help provincial small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) ensure and expand production.

The move is expected to help the province reach its target of 11-12.5% economic growth this year.

Soc Trang will give the provincial SMEs financial support to perfect management capacities and get up-to-date technologies to enhance their competitiveness.

It will also speed up administrative procedure reforms to attract more domestic and foreign investment.
