My Hoa Cooperative exports grapefruit to Europe

VietBusinessNews - My Hoa Nam Roi Cooperative in the southern province of Vinh Long won a contract to export 70 containers of Nam Roi pomelo to Europe this year, said the head of the cooperative Tran Van Sang.

He said that the cooperative aimed to sell 1,000 tonnes of the fruit this year for 7 billion VND (over 400,000 USD).

The cooperative’s fruit was granted the GlobalGap (Global Good Agriculture Practice) certificate by SGS Vietnam, an international food inspection and certification organisation. The certification will facilitate exporting products directly to overseas markets.
