VietBusinessNews - Cambodian government to date has licensed six special economic zones (SEZ) along Cambodia-Vietnam frontier, of which two zones were operational and four others under construction.

Phnom Den SEZ near Vietnam's An Giang province has an area of 100 hectares with total cost of US$100 million for companies for processing agricultural products. The construction on Phnom Den SEZ is expected to finish by 2015.

Cambodia licensed a total of 19 SEZ.

As estimated, the six SEZ along Vietnam's border will help increase the two countries' trade to US$2 billion in 2010.
